轉眼間便是聖光師父三步一拜圓滿拜到五台山的三週年了, 時光匆匆, 但在我們腦海裹好像是昨天的事, 雖然聖光師父尚在中國遊學還未回來。無論師父在那裹, 當我們想起三步一拜時總會記起這位堅持信念的師父, 他的堅持使他成功完成了三步一拜, 由湛山精舍拜到比得堡市的五台山。同時也使我們想起一班非常發心煮餐及送餐的師兄及義工們對師父的支持！

Ven. Shengguang Shi’s 3S1B pilgrimage from Cham Shan Temple to Peterborough’s Wutaishan was completed three years ago today but it seems just happened yesterday. Although he is on sabbatical in China now, it looks as if he is with us in Canada every time when we are thinking about Wutaishan. As we are thinking about his pilgrimage which took him 6 months to complete, all the volunteers who delivered food and devotees who followed Shengguang Shi for 3S1B seems appearing in front of us and all their kind acts come back in our memories. Shengguang Shi’s pilgrimage gives us encouragement, wonderful memories and an excellent example of practicing “Six Paramitas”. We thank Ven. Shengguang Shi for giving us the opportunity of learning and cultivating the way of purification.(Tom)

3S1B Anniversary Lunch
時間過得真快, 轉舜間已經是聖光師完成三步一拜的第三年了, 他從二零零八年五月十一日開始三步一拜, 由湛山精舍拜到加國五台山, 師父足足用了半年的時間去完成他的莊舉, 師父的堅持及不屈不朽的精神, 我們都會銘記於心。今年的五月十日師父已出外參學去了，師父希望此行能尋找到他想学的佛法及啟發他的智慧, 我們大家在這裡默默祝福師父早日找到他想学的佛法,及早日回耒教導我們如何開悟。以下一些照片是聖光法師臨行前與他的佛學班學生及三步一拜的義工們合照。 仁勤合十
Today is the 3rd anniversary of Ven. Shengguang Shi’s Three Steps One Bow (3S1B) pilgrimage. Ven. Shengguang Shi started his 3S1B pilgrimage from Cham Shan Temple to Wutaishan in Peterborough on May 11, 2008. This enormous task took him more than 6 months to complete. We will forever remember in our hearts the endurance, fortitude, and high spirits he displayed throughout the 3S1B.
Our teacher left us to go on a sabbatical in China May 10th 2010. He is planning to advance his Dharma understanding by joining several special retreats there. We wish him the best and that he will be able to realize his lifetime dream and hope that he will come back soon to enlighten us in class.

週年後感
五月十二日即張到臨,回想去年同日正是聖光師三步一拜的開始,當時百感交集,漫漫長路,唯恐光師不能完成他的偉大願望,幸而聖光師在半年的時間內完成了加拿大第一位法師的三步一拜創舉, 在整整半年長的時間,當中師父有艱辛,曾生病,也曾受襲擊,當然好的一方面是有一班愛護及支持光師的義工,在毫無私心地供獻他們的時間,不間斷地去到遙遠的地方送餐,使我十分感動及鼓舞,還有沿路上遇到不少支持師父的民居們。在師父不屈不朽的精神下,終於在去年十一月十一日完成了他的願望。其實一班義工們回想當時都異口同聲地說:感謝聖光師給大家這樣一個特別的機會去體會日常體會不到的感受:如在路上的跪拜,在公園裹做晚課等等,都給予每位義工在人生上上了一堂特別而又難忘的一課,在這裹我代表各位義工師兄們感激聖光師父慈悲的帶領。順帶在這裡一提當時義工的各字:
